据了解，托马斯拒绝了篮网提供的两个续约方案：一是2年3000万美元，第二年为球队选项；二是1年950万美元，另有150万美元的奖金，但需要放弃交易否决权。

托马斯生涯至今打了4个赛季，全都在篮网度过。出战215场比赛，场均23.2分钟，拿到15.1分2.6篮板2.1助攻，三项命中率为43.9/34.5/86.0%。

上赛季他因伤只打了25场比赛，是生涯新低，场均31.2分钟，砍下24.0分3.3篮板3.8助攻，三项命中率为43.8/34.9/88.1%。
