王少杰1996年9月17日出生于河北省石家庄市，在2019年选秀大会，王少杰以状元身份被北控选中，自此开启CBA生涯。

上赛季王少杰被租借至广东男篮，他出战32场比赛，场均15.6分钟，得到6.0分3.3篮板1.0助攻0.6抢断0.7盖帽，投篮命中率为62.2%，罚球命中率为62.3%。

在今夏北控男篮更新的国内球员注册信息表中，王少杰的C类合同还剩4年，新赛季他将继续以租借身份在广东男篮效力。
